ACCESSIBILITY AT THE Messe Innsbruck

Messe Innsbruck / Innsbruck Exhibition Center attaches great importance to creating a barrier-free environment for all visitors. The exhibition centre is designed accordingly to provide unrestricted access for people with different needs.

Barrier-free paths and lifts ensure that wheelchair users and people with limited mobility can easily reach the exhibition stands. In addition, the exhibition areas are designed in such a way that they are easily accessible. Messe Innsbruck thus sets an example for inclusion and enables all visitors to fully experience the wide range of offers at the trade fair.

OUR MEASURES FOR ACCESSIBILITY

  • Routing to the information desk at the main entrance.
  • The guidance system from the public pavement in Claudiastrasse guides visitors via the floor guidance system to the information centre.
  • From the information desk, visitors are accompanied by staff if required.
  • The possibility of an inductive hearing system is illustrated by means of a mobile system with 12 receivers.
  • The lifts are equipped with voice output and tactile labelling of the floor buttons.
  • The handrails in the exhibition forum and in Hall B are equipped with tactile letters and numbers.
  • We offer discounted tickets for people with disabilities at each of our own trade fairs.
  • All measures were clarified in consultation with the responsible authority, the Disability Officer of the City of Innsbruck.
