12th INTERALPIN Golf Trophy powered by Doppelmayr: Successful participation of numerous industry leaders at the sporting networking event
With over 35,000 trade visitors from 129 nations, the 24th INTERALPIN 2023 impressively demonstrated its global appeal as the leading international trade fair for alpine technologies at the end of April. The INTERALPIN Golf Trophy, a popular networking event in the industry, brought the success of the world's leading trade fair to a sporting conclusion and put participants in the mood for the upcoming FAFGA hotel and catering trade fair.
Innsbruck-Igls, 12.09.2023. The 70 or so participants and guests at the 12th INTERALPIN Golf Trophy found perfect conditions at Olympiagolf Igls: Lots of sunshine, freshly prepared greens, good spirits and numerous familiar faces. At the side event of the leading trade fair for alpine technologies INTERALPIN, big names from the tourism and cable car industry came together to duel with wood and iron over 18 holes according to Stableford. The event was supported by Doppelmayr and the other sponsors Axess, Technoalpin, Smart Solutions, Fleischhof Oberland, Unterberger-Denzel, Pixelrunner, Bellutti, Sporthotel Igls, the Tirolerin and the Olympia Golf Club Igls.

“I am delighted that the INTERALPLIN Golf Trophy has become an annual networking event for many industry partners since 2010. CULINARY NETWORKING & SPECIAL PUNCH
After the competition, the prominent representatives of the renowned winter sports regions gathered in the clubhouse to round off the successful day with culinary delights and live music and to celebrate the winners. Harald Ausserlechner and Birgit Strobl-Wolfram were the day's overall winners in the gross classification. Arno Hafner managed a special shot, hitting a hole-in-one - the only one in all the tournaments so far this year. For Stefan Kleinlercher, INTERALPIN project manager, the 12th Golf Trophy was a success: “The numerous participants and the high level of interest impressively underline the fact that the INTERALPIN Golf Trophy is firmly anchored in the calendar of the cable car industry.” The 25th INTERALPIN will take place from May 6 to 9, 2025.
